Mount Vernon Gardens

Located in the City of Omaha, Mount Vernon Gardens is a half-scale replica of George Washington's estate in Virginia. A full-sized replica of Mount Vernon's maze highlights the riverfront park, while extensive gardens represent the original estate's various gardens and buildings. Visitors can overlook the bluffs of the Missouri River from the portico. Developed in the late 1920s, this site's historic features were restored in the 1990s and accessible walkways were added. Today, its lush gardens and breathtaking views make Mount Vernon Gardens a primary attraction in Omaha and a popular site for social gatherings, weddings and sightseeing.
